The accommodation was of an excellent standard, beautifully decorated with two large double beds and a very well stocked tea/coffee area.A very unusual set up with your own private bathroom being situated across the hall, but they do provide lovely fluffy dressing gowns to save any awkward meeting on the landing moments. The meal we had in their restaurant was second to none! Delicious & well presented Gastro pub style food that we couldn't fault, my husband declared that it was the best Pork Belly he had eaten. The staff were attentive and super friendly, we would definitely stay there again as it was a perfect location for the Goodwood Revival weekend which we were attending. 5 stars well done and hope to see you next year !

The decoration of our bedroom was elegant; This was the reason why I had chosen that place : an elegant decoration in an affordable price hotel. Good position near a main road but very quiet in a small hamlet of Horsham, directly opening to public foot pathes where we couldt quickly meet deers and other wild animals. The breakfast was served in a basket (as the restaurant is closed in the morning) and you will do your own coffee or tea in your bedroom. But everything was good, fresh, generous and well presented. I keep a nice and pleasant souvenir of this place (french woman traveller).

Breakfast was included in our rate and this just required to fill in a form for for what we wanted the next morning. This was then delivered in a little hamper outside our door. I’d seen some reviews people saying the breakfast wasn’t great. But we found our choices tasty and plentiful. And also use of a nespresso machine for a nice morning coffee.

My room looked like it had recently been renovated, nice clean modern en-suite, lovely clean towels and bedding. Excellent brew facilities thanks to the professional nespresso machine. The pub atmosphere was nice, the food and beer were great and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly….I would definitely visit again.

The quality of the food was outstanding, including fresh fish and locally farmed beef and venison. I really enjoyed the breakfast hamper, which you can order the night before and which is great value at £10 a head (kids would enjoy it too). The pub also has a very pleasant garden at the back. If you're visiting the Knepp Rewilding Project, then it's an easy walk from the pub.
